The remix for Union – Coco Mango (feat. MF DOOM) was created in 2012. But only now in 2019, it gets its own visualisation. This very acidic video was created by Shawn Johnson.
Damu The Fudgemunk, leisurely beatmaker from Redefinition Records, created the beat base on the sample which had been already used in another track featuring MF DOOM.
First, he spat bars over this sample in Madvillain’s “Rhinestone Cowboy”. It’s obvious that Madlib was responsible for the Madvillain’s production.
MF DOOM & Damu The Fudgemunk “Coco Mango Diced” production differs by additional samples, scratches and drums. MF DOOM was raised in a Muslim family, and he refers to Islam in this track a lot.
